Torrance Memorial Physician Network OBGYN - San PedroRPV

This San Pedro/Rancho PV clinic is just horrible, the staff is rude, nobody said hello or welcomed me and the facility is old.I am not trying to be rude but everything was unprofessional there and it made me feel uncomfortable, so I would give this location a 2 star rating for those reasons.

One of the worst prices I had with place.Their patient portal and patient records are completely disjointed at this hospital. If you see your PC and go to a specialist and in case your PC already did the test prior to seeing the specialist the specialist will again make you take same tests. Patient records gets misplaced every time! Different offices can’t see the test already requested or done.They will send you bill at wrong address every time despite the fact that I updated my billing and mailing addresses in all their portals.Receptions and care teams are rude and really don’t have idea what they are doing.

The gyno team/staff there is quite literally awful. Doctors get pulled away for a delivery which is to be expected, but the common courtesy would be to (at the very least) inform that patient that their long time scheduled appointment will no longer be happening so they dont unnecessarily miss work/pay. When trying to express my concerns the staff member explained that their pregnant patients appointment was priority and was of the upmost importance of urgency and that Id have to reschedule. She completely disregarded the importance of an older patient with very realistic health concerns. There was no, Im sorry or Let me see what happened. She just said, Oh, someone was supposed to call you and chuckled as though it was a laughing matter. I was asked to have a seat and wait until they called me up. They proceeded to call up other patients that were waiting to be seen as opposed to sending me on my way and rescheduling immediately due to their incompetency and disregard for my time. I was a new patient and there for the first time. The professionalism is completely lacking and honestly upsetting. Unfortunately, it appears as if you are not pregnant or a friend, you will be dismissed as though your concerns are not emergent.

Dr. Raza is personable, funny, caring, and charismatic. She makes me feel comfortable, does her job thoroughly and gently and always makes me laugh. She’s an all around great person.

Dr Raza was very thoughtful and listened to me thoroughly. Her approach was kind, consultative and reassuring.And she was on time for my afternoon appointment. :)

I saw Dr. Joseph Roofeh. He was very nice and made me feel totally comfortable before during and after my exam. He was very thorough and addressed all of my concerns and questions. I had to have an ultrasound and blood work done etc and the staff called me the following week and left several messages for me to get back to them so the doctor could schedule a telephone appointment with me to go over the results. I am very pleased with the treatment and care I received here.

I had one appointment here and that was all I needed to experience to know that Im not going back here again. Dr. Sanders was cool. The place was clean. Its a small clinic right across from Providence hospital. My problem is with their follow-up. They told me that they would get back to me within the week by email or phone with my results. Well its been over 2 months and still nothing. Ive called and left messages with a receptionist twice. Each time Ive asked whats happening? Why havent they reached out to me? I understand that were in the middle of Covid but at least they could have contacted me and said that theyre still processing my results or something. Nothing. Im tired of trying to reach them. Also when Ive called them, theyre late from their lunch and arent able to be reached so some other receptionist answers and tells me that theyre having a late lunch...Now Im gonna have to go to another OBGYN to go through the same thing over again to hopefully get a more punctual response.
